PERSONALITY DISORDERS AND CRIME

As it is known, the prevalence of mental disorders in penitentiary system high. Among disorders, there are psychoses different genesis, affective post-traumatic stress disorder, personality substance abuse, dual etc. The study within prison relationship between crime committed by an individual and a very interesting current problem. I think prisons deserves special attention. goal this was to examine prisoners placed psychiatric ward medical unit accused convicted treatment facility. Of 501 patients studied, majority were men (448) minority women (12) what consistent with statistics for as whole. Indicators such age, place permanent residence, education included survey presented corresponding tables. These tables show that average age participants young (39 years), most them live regions (59.3%), have secondary (71.3%). According results study, 77% diagnosed emotionally unstable (borderline) disorder (F60.3), which B-cluster disorders. This, on its turn, relevant literature shows, findings other studies. However, given studies show: B Cluster give following picture: antisocial (47%); borderline (25% 21%, respectively).
